Winning Logo
The final logo for African Unique Expressions. I was chosen as the finalist for the design rebrand. The sans serif font was chosen to represent the modernity of the brand. The bright striped watercolor was meant as an homage to the owner’s roots in Nigeria, but also represented the vividness of the brand. The logo of the woman in a headscarf also pays reference to Africa.

Galactic Odyssey
This was a final I created for my digital flat sketching class. The theme was focused on modernizing what people in the past thought the future would be like. It was largely focused on retro-futurism.

Soft Goods On Figure Styling #1
This was created for a product styling class. We were in charge of setting up the location and shoot direction.
-
Soft Goods On Figure Styling #2
This is another image from the set, it includes the Philadelphia skyline.

Soft Goods On Figure Styling
This was a counterpart of the Soft Goods On Figure shoot. I was really into the idea of a floating mannequin/hanger, so I asked our photographer to take two shots of the wall, one with the dress, and one without. After I combined them in Photoshop, we got this amazing surreal image.
-
Apparel Styling Shoot
A shoot that was focused on androgyny and the fluidity of fashion. This was styled and shot in teams of 3.
-
Sketch Ideation #1
The assignment was focused on creating a new logo for the brand African Unique Expressions. I was focused on writing down vocabulary and small thumbnails of the brand identity.
-
Sketch Ideation #2
This is a continuation of the previous sketches. There was a large focus on preserving the African identity of the brand.
-
Sketch Ideation #3
This was after we had received client feedback. Due to feedback, I decided to start over with contour sketches. Through this the final sketch was gradually formed.
